Najviše nominacija imaju filmovi “Američka prevara” i “Gravitacija”.

Prva dodela “Oskara” bila je 16. maja 1929. godine, a 2. marta 2014. godine biće dodeljene nagrade za filmska ostvarenja u 2013. godini.
