Trka za NME (New Musical Express) nagrade u 2014. godini je u toku, a na sajtu NME.com objavljene su nominacije u 20 kategorija.
Dodela nagrada biće 26. februara u Londonu (O2 Academy Brixton).
Zanimljivo je da je svoje mesto među nominovanima našao i Vladimir Putin kao potencijalni „zlikovac“ godine, a Russell Brand nominovan je i u kategoriji „zlikovca“ i u kategoriji „heroj godine“.
Arctic Monkeys, Arcade Fire, QOTSA, David Bowie i Haim nominovani su u nekoliko kategorija, a zanimljivo je da se Muse našao kao predlog za najgori bend zajedno sa One Direction i Imagine Dragons.
