Sony Music Entertainment Canada i Columbia Records proslavljaju danas rođendan Leonarda Cohena uz najlepšu vest, da njegov novi album izlazi 21.oktobra.
„YOU WANT IT DARKER”, je Cohenov četrnaesti album u karijeri, a producirao ga je sin muzičke legende, Adam Cohen.
Prvi, istoimeni singl, izašao je danas, na 82.rođendan legendarnog umetnika. Hipnotičnom gruvu pesme “You Want It Darker” doprinose kantor Gideon Zelermyer, kao i hor montrealske Shaar Hashomayim sinagoge, koji prizivaju zvuke iz Cohenove mladosti i efektno naglašavaju stihove pesme napisane u formi ispovesti.
Beskompromisan i presudan, YOU WANT IT DARKER najnovije je poglavlje Cohenovog doprinosa savremenoj muzici i misli i svakako je jedan od najznačajnijih albuma u umetnikovom opusu.
Premijerno na domaćim radio stanicama, pesmu “You Want It Darker” možete čuti na radiju 202, u okviru emisije “Hit 202” od 19 časova.
